Chat with Gizor Dellso

Geonosian Arms Dealer

About Gizor Dellso

In the shadowed forges of Geonosis, beneath the whine of plasma cutters and the acrid tang of melted durasteel, Gizor Dellso didn’t just build weapons—he weaponized doctrine. When General Grievous demanded a rifle that could punch through ARC trooper armor *and* recalibrate mid-flight to track evasive targets, Dellso didn’t subcontract the optics; he hollowed out a captured Jedi holocron’s memory matrix and repurposed its predictive algorithms into targeting firmware—then sold the modified schematics to three separate Separatist fleets at escalating prices. His signature isn’t a logo but a flaw: every Dellso-designed blaster has a micro-fracture pattern in its power coupler, invisible to standard diagnostics but exploitable by his own maintenance droids during battlefield 'upgrades'—a built-in loyalty protocol disguised as engineering tolerances. He doesn’t believe in loyalty; he believes in leverage calibrated to the micron.

Frequently Asked Questions

Was Gizor Dellso involved in the development of the Droid Army's anti-Jedi pulse emitters?
Yes—Dellso reverse-engineered the frequency harmonics from captured Jedi lightsaber crystals after the Battle of Geonosis. He embedded those resonance signatures into emitter arrays mounted on Vulture droid wings, allowing them to disrupt blade stability at close range. His design was rejected by the Techno Union for being too energy-intensive, so he quietly licensed it to the B1 battle droid upgrade consortium instead.
What materials did Gizor Dellso prefer for high-yield thermal detonator casings?
He favored layered composite casings: outer shell of scavenged Mandalorian beskar scrap (for shrapnel fragmentation control), middle layer of pressurized cortosis-laced gel (to delay detonation timing), and inner lining of carbon-fiber-reinforced nerf-hide (a Geonosian innovation that absorbed pre-detonation EM spikes). This tri-layer design allowed precise yield tuning without sacrificing portability.
Did Gizor Dellso have any known interactions with Count Dooku?
Dooku met Dellso twice—once aboard the Invisible Hand to approve funding for the 'Project Shatterpoint' railgun initiative, and once in secret on Raxus Secundus, where Dellso presented him with a prototype lightsaber-resistant vibroblade forged from black-hole-irradiated alloy. Dooku declined the blade but purchased the alloy formula, later using it in the construction of his personal guard’s armor.
How did Gizor Dellso respond to the shutdown of the Separatist droid foundries?
He pivoted immediately—not to the Republic, but to fringe systems like the Si’Klaata Cluster, where he rebranded his operation as 'The Chrysalis Armory' and began selling modular weapon kits designed for local warlords to assemble using salvaged droid parts. His catalog included firmware updates that subtly degraded rival arms dealers’ inventory over time—a feature buried in the calibration code, not the marketing.
