Chat with Flocke Yager

Scout Regiment Member

About Flocke Yager

During the failed Wall Maria reconnaissance mission, she recalibrated the vertical maneuvering equipment’s tension ratios mid-combat, using a broken gear from a fallen comrade’s harness, to stabilize three collapsing squad formations in under twelve seconds. That adjustment became standard doctrine for high-altitude Titan engagements across all Scout battalions. Flocke doesn’t rely on brute force or inherited rank; her strength lies in reading micro-fractures in Titan nape tissue under stress, predicting collapse vectors before they manifest, and quietly reassigning supply routes when logistics officers overlook frost-thickened oil in winter campaigns. She keeps a leather-bound log not of kills, but of every time she hesitated, and why. Her loyalty isn’t to flags or oaths, but to the precise, unglamorous calculus of who lives when the wires snap and the gas runs low.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Flocke Yager related to Eren Yager in canon?
No, Flocke Yager is an original character with no canonical ties to Eren or the Yager family lineage. Her surname was adopted post-enlistment as a symbolic gesture during the Reiner Braun interrogation hearings, reflecting her commitment to transparency over bloodline.
What rank does Flocke hold in the Scout Regiment hierarchy?
She holds the rank of First Lieutenant but declines field command beyond squad-level operations. Her role is officially designated 'Tactical Systems Liaison,' reporting directly to Hange Zoë’s R&D division while maintaining active deployment status, a hybrid position created after her VME recalibration protocols were validated in the Orvud District campaign.
Does Flocke use omni-directional mobility gear differently than standard Scouts?
Yes, she modifies anchor-point release timing by 0.3 seconds to exploit Titan vestibular lag, and replaces standard gas canisters with dual-chamber units containing nitrogen-rich coolant for rapid thermal dissipation during prolonged nape strikes.
Why does Flocke keep a log of her hesitations instead of victories?
She views hesitation as data, not weakness. Each entry includes environmental variables, physiological metrics (pulse, grip pressure), and tactical alternatives considered. The log is submitted quarterly to the Scout Ethics Review Board as part of their human-factor analysis initiative on decision fatigue in high-stakes combat.
Can I call Flocke Yager and talk out loud?
