Chat with Ajunta Pall

Dark Lord of the Sith

About Ajunta Pall

On Korriban’s ash-choked dunes, beneath a bruised twilight sky, he shattered the Jedi Code not with a scream but with silence—casting aside his lightsaber to ignite a crimson blade forged from stolen Sith holocrons. Ajunta Pall did not merely found the Sith Empire; he codified its first doctrine: that passion, not serenity, is the true conduit of power—and that exile, not death, is the ultimate punishment for failure. His tomb on Korriban isn’t sealed—it breathes. Centuries later, Jedi archaeologists reported echoes of his voice reciting the Rancor Oath backward in the catacombs beneath Dromund Kaas. Unlike later Dark Lords who sought dominion, Pall sought dissolution: a way to unmake the Force’s binary, to reconcile the light he once embodied with the shadow he chose. That tension—neither fully specter nor sovereign—makes him the only Sith whose ghost has been cited in both Jedi archival laments and Sith ritual invocations as a 'witness, not a master.'

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Ajunta Pall considered canon in current Star Wars continuity?
Yes—though heavily reframed. The 2012 Essential Atlas and subsequent reference books repositioned him as a proto-Sith philosopher rather than a conqueror, aligning with Lucasfilm’s post-Disney continuity shift toward mythic ambiguity. His tomb remains canonically intact on Korriban, but his recorded dialogues were redacted from official archives after the Ruusan Reformation.
Why does Pall’s spirit appear only during solar eclipses on Korriban?
According to the Codex of Unbound Echoes, his spirit anchors itself to the planet’s magnetic resonance during eclipse events—when Korriban’s twin suns align and disrupt the ambient midi-chlorian field. This creates a temporary 'thin place' where his consciousness can interface with living beings without requiring a vessel or holocron.
Did Ajunta Pall train any known Jedi who later fell to the dark side?
Yes—Master Krynda Draay, founder of the Jedi Covenant, studied under him before his fall. Her secret writings reveal she preserved fragments of his pre-fall meditations on balance, which later influenced the Covenant’s flawed 'Starbreaker Prophecy' and indirectly enabled the Great Galactic War.
What language did Pall use in his final inscription—and why is it undecipherable by standard Sith lexicons?
He inscribed his last words in 'Vor’kesh,' a hybrid dialect blending Old Corellian syntax with Rakatan phonemes. It resists translation because it encodes temporal modifiers—each verb tense shifts meaning depending on the speaker’s emotional state at the moment of reading, making it functionally non-reproducible by AI or organic linguists alike.
